DAY 1

Travel to Arusha, Tanzania    

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by our representative or safari guide, who will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. As a team of local Tanzanians, we know the country like the back of our hand, so you're in for a treat from when you land until you leave. Welcome on board!

Ngare Sero Mountain Lodge

Ngare Sero is one of the oldest lodges in Arusha set in lush gardens amid forest and crystal-clear waters on the slopes of Mount Meru. This property offers 10 Garden Rooms, 2 Main House Suites and a Farm Cottage with 3 bedrooms. This is certainly a cozy place to relax and simmer in the immerse beauty of the environment .

DAY 2

Materuni Waterfalls hike + Coffee Tour & Local Lunch

You will drive to the Kilimanjaro region for a day of activities. Upon arrival at the village, you will go for the hiking adventure to the waterfalls that take about 45min-1hr one way, followed by a hot local lunch before embarking for a coffee plantation tour to learn about Tanzania’s Arabica coffee. Enjoy cooking coffee in an outdoor fire, pound it and finally make a cup of coffee for yourself.

DAY 3 

Tarangire National Park

Today, you will proceed to Tarangire, home to the highest concentration of elephants in Northern Tanzania. Lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles and many other wildlife species also inhabit this park. Tarangire offers over 550 bird species, including the world's most giant bird - the Maasai ostrich.

DAY 4

Meet Hadzabe the Bushmen & Datoga Tribe

You will leave the lodge early morning to meet the Hadzabe Bushmen, the last hunters and gatherers society in Africa. Participate in their activities such as hunting, fruit gathering, and making a campfire. Later on, you will meet the Datoga tribe, traditional pastoralists who farm maize, beans, and millet. Visit the Datoga blacksmith and watch him forge knives and jewelry for the Bushmen.

DAY 5 

Ndutu Game Drive & Southern Serengeti

Lake Ndutu is part of Southern Serengeti and Ngorongoro ecosystem renowned for Great Migration between Jan to March, but the area is also famous for its resident game throughout the year including lions, cheetahs, leopards, striped hyenas, elephants, giraffes etc. What makes Ndutu special is the opportunity to track the wildlife off the main roads, which is not possible elsewhere.

Lake Masek Tented Lodge

This beautiful lodge is set up at the area where the Great Migration takes place to make sure that you will always have the best place to see this impressive spectacle from your own tent. The 30 tents are built on raised wood platforms with en-suite facilities and an outside shower. Each tent has its own private terrace where guests can enjoy the landscape and the surroundings.

Serengeti National Park

Let yourself be inspired by the beauty and wonder of the Serengeti, where acacia trees and granite kopjes adorn the endless waves of grass! Your time is dedicated to see the best of Central Serengeti, that offers everyday opportunities to spot Tanzania's most impressive wildlife including big prides of lions, cheetahs, elephants, leopards, giraffes, a great number of hippos, and abundant birdlife!

The Singing Grass Camp

With just 12 luxury safari tents, The Singing Grass Camp ensures each guest has an intimate experience of the wild Serengeti. At the end of the night, retreat to your tent tucked among a private patch of the savannah. DAY 8 

Ngorongoro Crater Tour

The Ngorongoro crater, which is only 10 miles wide, was formed around three million years ago when a volcano collapsed. It is the world's largest volcano caldera and is home to over 25,000 resident animals, making it a unique ecosystem. In the grass steppes and acacia forest, you can spot almost every animal in the East African savanna, including the African "Big Five”.

DAY 9

Authentic Maasai Cultural Experience  

Spend quality time with the Maasai tribe and experience their traditional culture. During your visit, you can witness how they build their igloo-like homes called manyatas and livestock fences. You can also participate in activities such as fetching water with the donkeys, collecting firewood, or learning about traditional beadwork with the revered women of the tribe.
