A visit to Lake Eyasi (located in the south Ngorongoro) includes seeing 2 tribal groups: Hadzabe & Datoga. Hadzabe are found further in the bush while Datoga lives in the village. Unlike other cultures, nothing is set for tourists when visiting these 2 tribal groups.

With the Bushmen you can participate in tribal chanting, bush trekking (hunting), fruit foraging, honey harvesting, arrow shooting and making campfire. Seeing the Datoga’s blacksmith and their work is quite interesting as you can also participate in it. You will also have to visit a Datoga family an opportunity see how Datoga women make different milk products.
