The Maasai tribe is one of the oldest and most well-known tribes in East Africa. They migrated from Southern Sudan along with their cattle and were nomadic by nature. They settled in the Great Rift Valley during the 17th and 18th centuries. Even today, they continue to uphold their traditions and distinct culture in northwestern Tanzania and parts of Kenya. The Maasai are known for their fierceness and bravery.

You can also participate in activities such as fetching water with the donkeys, collecting firewood, or learning about traditional beadwork with the revered women of the tribe.
