Payment Options

Zohar African Safaris Ltd provides you with two options to make your payment: International Bank Transfer or Online Credit Card.

  2. International wire transfer

Online Credit Card

Please know there is a 3.5% bank surcharge that is added with credit card payments.

International Wire Transfer

Please note the charges associated with this payment method will be carried by the sender (client). This payment mode may take up to 7 working days to complete.

Booking Policy

  • We require 30% of the quoted package price (excluding flights) upon confirmation. 
  • We accept full payment from the time the booking is confirmed. 
  • Full payment must be made 30 days prior to the day your safari begins.
  • All payments must be made in US dollars. You can make the payment through online credit card or wire draft. Wire draft is highly recommended.

Note: The booking policy is subjected to tours with high-end lodges. We will inform you about the policy upon request. 

Cancellation Policy

90 days or more – 25% of the total safari cost will be charged

89 days to 31 days – 50% of the total safari cost will be charged

30 days to 14 days – 75% of the total safari cost will be charged

13 days and below or No show – 100% of the total safari cost will be charged

Note: Only written (e-mail) cancellations based on the received date of the email will be considered valid and approved. You will receive written confirmation your cancellation has been received. The cancellation policy applies only if full payment is made.

Amendment Policy

ZAS is flexible about making amendments to meet your needs, interests, and budget, provided all changes are made in time and in written form. Depending on the specific changes you would request, the package price is subjected to change.

Any changes in your safari package that incurs extra cost will be charged accordingly and ZAS will inform you of such.

Refunds

If you are trip is cancelled and you are entitled to receive a refund, please be advised the bank charges incurred to process the refund will be deducted from your end.

Price Changes

All ZAS package prices are subjected to change with regards to park fees, government taxes or other costs incurred by ZAS through government regulations and policies, the costs of which befall upon the client.

Marketing

ZAS reserves the right to use any photographs / videos taken during the safari for marketing purposes. However, you retain the right to use the photographs / videos though ZAS retains copyright authority. Any use of imagery will be communicated to you and appeal or objection from your part will be considered by ZAS.

Your Responsibility

Clients must ensure all travel documents including (but not limited to) passports; visas and vaccination certificates (if needed) before your departure date are valid and certified. For any vaccination, medical advice, or medical certificates; consult your physician or travel health specialist for the proper prescription. It is your responsibility to obtain appropriate medical advice as to medication, immunization, and whether or not you are fit enough to undertake the trip, prior to departure. ZAS may and will advise on matters, but such advice is not legally binding and does not constitute a substitution for government or medical certification or guarantees.

It is the clients’ responsibility to check all flights and ensure all pre-booking procedures prior to your visit to Tanzania are valid and legally sound. Clients will not receive a credit or refund of agreed quotation if failing to prepare appropriate documents prior or upon arrival. ZAS does not take responsibility for any loss, theft or otherwise of any valuables, documents, tickets, (credit) cards, money or any other tangible good in possession of the client.

Insurance

ZAS encourages its clients to take adequate travel and medical insurance in the event of any loss or injury while on holiday. ZAS can and will inform on available options and if requested will arrange such insurance on the condition, ZAS is indemnified on all accounts, and such is transferred to the appropriate insurance agencies.

Luggage

All luggage and personal effects are the client’s responsibility. ZAS does not accept any liability for any loss or damage of personal belongings while in international transit. However, if your luggage gets lost while in transit or does not arrive with you, ZAS will do its best to help you retrieve it and have it delivered to your hotel upon its arrival.

Clients are allowed to bring one bag of not more than 23kg (backpack or soft bag – no hardtop suitcase). ZAS reserves the right to refuse excess baggage.

Customers with Disabilities and Physical Challenges

Guests with physical challenges or disabilities MUST communicate their special need requirements at the time of the booking. These needs include, but are not limited to, physical, mental, or psychological, medication or other needs. All necessary information must be shared clearly with ZAS to understand the nature of any challenge to ensure these needs are accommodated. ZAS accommodates customers with disabilities. However, there are limitations, and we wish to ensure all safeguards are in place for your experience which may include stand-by medical assistance, adjusted vehicles or accommodation, altered itineraries and other.

Risk

ZAS will not be responsible for injury, calamity, damage, dissatisfaction, or any other damaging event (material, immaterial or otherwise) to the clients travel experience, while on safari, if and when; directions, protocols, rules or guidelines given by the responsible guide and / or ZAS are not followed by the client.

ZAS is not liable for aforementioned at any accommodations.

The Law

The above Terms and Conditions together with all correspondences form part of your contract with ZAS.

This contract and any matters arising from it shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Tanzania law and the courts of Tanzania which shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear any and all proceedings between us either relating to our contract or arising out of it.
