ZAS, headquartered in Arusha, Tanzania, was founded by Lilian M. Kramer, a driven Tanzanian entrepreneur. Through unwavering dedication, perseverance, and a commitment to exceptional customer service, she has established the company from the bottom up, consistently prioritizing customer satisfaction and well-being. Today, Zohar African Safaris is a distinguished boutique Safari Company renowned for its wildlife tracking and unparalleled ability to provide an authentic African experience away from the crowds, as our esteemed clientele attests.

Lilian M. Kramer is a hardworking, creative and visionary individual with extensive knowledge of the tourism industry and safari tours in Tanzania and Africa. She has applied her skills to the travel industry for over 12 years, demonstrating leadership, management expertise, organizational collaboration, and excellent communication skills.
Lilian’s personality and travel industry knowledge have enabled her to build a dynamic, hardworking, and committed team of professionals. This team includes specialists in various fields within the travel and tourism industry, such as tour guides and customer service experts with years of experience in the African safari industry. They ensure the highest quality of service for clients.
Lilian earned a BA from Dodoma University, majoring in Sociology and Cultural Anthropology. After university, she worked as a safari consultant for several leading Tanzania safari companies and served as operations manager and general manager before establishing her thriving business.
Meet Jackline, the brilliant mind behind the seamless operations of our safari company. With her passion for wildlife and keen eye for operational excellence, Jackie plays a vital role in shaping distinctive safari experiences that define our company. From coordinating logistics to ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction, Jackie oversees the daily office operations including the intricate details that transform a safari into a once-in-a-lifetime journey!
A few years after earning her bachelor degree in accounting from the Moshi University of Cooperative & Business Studies, Jackie decided to take different courses in the tourism and hospitality industry including conservation, management, sales & customer service.
Beyond the boardroom, Jackline is a true advocate for sustainable tourism and wildlife conservation. She actively engages in wildlife conservation initiatives. Whether collaborating with local conservation organizations or implementing eco-conscious policies within our operations, she strives to make a positive impact. At the heart of our company, she stands as a driving force towards a future where tourism and conservation coalesce seamlessly for the benefit of our planet and the generations to come.
