The Entebbe Botanical Gardens are nestled on the northern shores of Lake Victoria, and they host diverse varieties of plant species, including tropical flowers, trees, and shrubs. The gardens offer scenic views of Lake Victoria, with benches and picnic areas where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings.
The gardens have a diverse collection of over 500 plant species from tropical, subtropical, and temperate zones, as well as naturally regenerated shrubs and other plants. The gardens are well known for its bird paradise, such as the palm nut vulture, African gray parrot, and bat hawk, as well as the orange-tufted, orange weaver, and red-chested sunbird. As you stroll along the paths, you will find a medicinal garden, lush bamboo stands, dense underbrush and towering trees.
