The Ivy River trail in Bwindi spans 14 kilometers between the Nkuringo and Buhoma sectors of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in Uganda. This trail promises an exciting opportunity to explore the park’s abundant biodiversity, encounter local Batwa people, and observe a variety of animals, such as buffaloes, elephants, chimpanzees, gorillas, monkeys, and numerous bird species. Completing the hike in 4 to 6 hours allows hikers to appreciate the natural splendor of Bwindi fully.
