Rhino Tracking

Rhino tracking in Uganda offers an exhilarating and revitalizing experience as you trek through the jungle accompanied by skilled rangers. This unique activity allows you to witness rhinos in their natural habitat, primarily in the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

Located in Nakitoma, on the Gulu highway heading toward Murchison Falls, the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary spans approximately 7000 hectares and is home to over 32 southern white rhinos. These magnificent creatures freely roam this protected area. This sanctuary is the exclusive destination in East Africa for tracking rhinos on foot and observing them in the wild. Alongside this guided nature walk, you’ll have the opportunity to marvel at over 300 bird species and diverse wildlife, including antelopes, hippos, monkeys, crocodiles, and a variety of flora.
