Lake Nakuru National Park
Situated in the Great Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru National Park is renowned as a bird sanctuary with abundant flamingos that nourish themselves on its algae. The size of Lake Nakuru fluctuates depending on the amount of rainfall, and its surface area ranges from 5 to 45 km².
Additionally, Lake Nakuru National Park accommodates a substantial rhinoceros population. These magnificent creatures are frequently observed lounging under the shelter of the lush acacia trees surrounding the lake. Encompassed by cascades, cliffs, and woodlands, the lake is a crucial water source for zebra, buffalo, and the endangered Rothschild giraffe.
