Travel Dates: July to October

The most thrilling and breathtaking time to observe the Great Migration is when the herds are in the Northern Serengeti, ready to cross the Mara River, where hungry crocodiles pursue the migrating animals. The Mara River crossing is not a single event but occurs multiple times throughout the dry season. The groups, varying in size from a few hundred to tens of thousands, cross in both directions. The rhythm of the crossing is one of the most stunning and iconic events on Earth.

On this journey, you will not only track the migration but also explore Tarangire, famous for its plentiful elephant population and other exotic wildlife. The safari includes visiting the Central Serengeti, where a pride of lions rules, and a trip to the Ngorongoro Crater, home to over twenty-five thousand animals, including the “Big Five.”
