This journey goes beyond tracking the migration. You will also explore Tarangire, renowned for its vast elephant population and diverse wildlife, before continuing to the Central Serengeti, where a magnificent pride of lions reigns. Finally, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a world within itself, home to more than 25,000 animals, including the legendary Big Five.

Travel to Arusha, Tanzania

In the afternoon, you will continue your journey to Ngorongoro, where you’ll catch your first glimpse of glistening streams, sweeping grasslands, and the countless animals that await you in the crater the following day. The evening will be spent enjoying a leisurely dinner before retiring for the night.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour
The Ngorongoro crater, which is only 10 miles wide, was formed around three million years ago when a volcano collapsed. In the grass steppes and acacia forest, you can spot almost every animal in the East African savannah, including the African big five.

Tarangire offers over 550 bird species, including the world’s largest bird—the Maasai ostrich.
