During this safari, you will track the migrations herds in the western part of Serengeti. This area offers impressive views of large groups of wildebeests and zebras boldly crossing the dangerous Grumeti River. Amid the crossing, they come face to face with hungry crocodiles lurking beneath the water’s surface. Patient predators find the inexperienced young wildebeests and zebras easy to hunt.
Besides following the Migration, you will explore Tarangire, which is home to a large population of elephants and other unique wildlife such as leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, and over a hundred different species of birds. This safari also offers ample time to experience the vast open plains of Central Serengeti, which are dominated by a magnificent pride of lions. Your safari experience would not be complete without descending into the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest caldera in the world, hosting over twenty-five thousand resident animals, including the “Big Five.”

Travel to Arusha, Tanzania
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by our representative or safari guide, who will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Serengeti, Travel to Ngorongoro
Today we set off on a final game drive in Serengeti with a packed lunch, providing more opportunities to capture heart-stopping photos. Later, we will head to Ngorongoro, where you will first glimpse the glistening streams, vast grasslands, and countless animals that await you in the crater the next day. Spend the evening at leisure, have dinner, and retire for the night.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour
The Ngorongoro crater, which is only 10 miles wide, was formed around three million years ago when a volcano collapsed.
