Arrive in Rwanda Kigali – Transfer to Your Hotel
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport (KGL), our safari guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel 20 minutes away in Kigali town. The guide will provide a briefing on your itinerary, share essential tips, and answer any questions before heading to Volcanoes Mountain for the gorilla trekking the next day.
Heaven Boutique Hotel
This popular 4-star hotel is decorated with local Rwandan décor. It has 28 rooms located on 2 separate properties on a peaceful, residential road. The hotel has beautiful tropical gardens and expansive views of Kigali town.
Kigali City Tour – Volcanoes National Park
Today, you will start your day with a tour of Kigali city. You will have the opportunity to visit the well-developed market & the genocide memorial site and museum. Afterwards, you will enjoy your lunch in town before heading north to the Ruhengeri region, located at the foothills of the Volcanoes Mountains and the Volcanoes National Park.

Fly to Tanzania
After having breakfast, you will drive to Kigali Airport (KGL) for an international flight to Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may attend a safari briefing at our Arusha office before heading to the lodge for an overnight stay. If your arrival is late, the briefing will be conducted the next morning.
