Travel to Arusha, Tanzania
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by our representative or safari guide, who will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Biking or Walking Safari + Lake Manyara Game Drive
Today, you will set off to Lake Manyara nestled on the edge of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment for a biking or walking safari followed by a game drive. Lake Manyara is known for its year-round greenery, attracting migratory birds and featuring a variety of wildlife such as baboons, velvet & blue monkeys, hippos, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, elephants, warthogs and many more!

The Ngorongoro crater, which is only 10 miles wide, was formed around three million years ago when a volcano collapsed. It is the world’s largest volcano caldera and is home to over 25,000 resident animals, making it a unique ecosystem. In the grass steppes and acacia forest, you can spot almost every animal in the East African savanna, including the African “Big Five”.

Meet the Hadzabe Bushmen & Datoga Tribe
You will leave the lodge early morning to meet the Hadzabe Bushmen, the last hunter and gatherer society in Africa. Participate in their activities such as hunting, fruit gathering, and making a campfire. Later on, you will meet the Datoga tribe, traditional pastoralists who farm maize, beans, and millet. Visit the Datoga blacksmith and watch him forge knives and jewelry for the Bushmen.

Tarangire is home to the highest concentration of elephants in Northern Tanzania. Lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and many other wildlife species also inhabit this park. Tarangire offers over 550 bird species, including the world’s largest bird—the Maasai ostrich.
