You will visit the Rwanda Genocide Museum, which tells the tragic history of the Rwandan people, a story that is integral to their lives. The tour will then proceed to Bwindi Forest National Park in Uganda, where you can track the fascinating mountain gorillas.
Following this fantastic adventure, your next destination will be Tanzania, where you’ll explore world-renowned wildlife parks such as Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. Detailed Itinerary
Arrival Day - Transfer to Kigali
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport (KGL), your safari guide will pick you up transfer you to your hotel in Kigali town, Which is a 20 to 30 minutes drive. Your guide will brief you on your itinerary before your safari begins. If you have any questions, concerns or need further clarification on something prior to driving to Bwindi, today would be the perfect day.
Heaven Boutique Hotel
This 4-star hotel features 28 rooms decorated in a local Rwandan style, spread across two separate properties on a peaceful residential road. The hotel boasts tropical gardens, a swimming pool, and scenic views of Kigali.
Kigali Town Tour – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today you will set out for a Kigali city tour. You’ll visit the genocide memorial site & museum and have lunch in the city. Later on, you will proceed to Ruhengeri region and make a stop at the foothills of the Volcanoes Mountains towards Rwanda-Uganda Cyanika/Katuna land border point for immigration logistics before continuing to your lodging at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Gorilla Leisure Lodge
Located in Bwindi, this gorgeous and lavish oasis is a tranquil eco-lodge. With the impenetrable forest of Bwindi as its backdrop, it offers spectacular views. It brings a natural ambience to the door. With 12 chic and spacious rooms, including doubles and family cottages, with distinctive architecture and intricate designs, this is the place to be.
Trek Gorillas in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Park
Around 7:45am you will report to the rangers’ station with your gorilla pass for registration and briefing. Thereafter, you’ll trek through the bush to track the gorillas which can take 2 to 6 hours; so, a reasonable degree of fitness and shoes for hiking is required. Once you find them, you’ll observe their interesting human-like behavior for an hour before descending back to the briefing point.

Fly Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO), Tanzania
After having breakfast, you will drive to Kigali Airport (KGL) for an international flight to Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may attend a safari briefing at our Arusha office before heading to the lodge for an overnight stay. If your arrival is late, the briefing will be conducted the next morning. Please know the flight is NOT included in the price below.
Arusha Serena Lodge

Tarangire offers over 550 bird species, including the world’s biggest bird – the Maasai ostrich. Get ready for an adventure!

This is a midrange exclusive hotel built on a 500 acres coffee farm nested in a beautiful woodland area located 4km from Ngorongoro Conservation Area entrance. Ngorongoro Crater Tour
