This tour has been thoughtfully planned to provide a well-rounded experience that includes wildlife viewing, cultural immersion, recreational activities, and a few days of relaxation in Zanzibar. Our goal is to offer you a unique experience, allowing you to connect with Tanzania’s incredible wildlife and friendly people before ending your days in Zanzibar for a peaceful retreat after the safari.
During this tour, you’ll have the exceptional opportunity to see the diverse wildlife of Africa in their natural habitats in Arusha, Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. Our safari also features an immersive cultural experience, where you can interact with the local Maasai people, the Hadzabe Bushmen, and the Datooga tribe. Additionally, we provide multiple opportunities to participate in recreational activities, such as waterfall hikes, biking and walking safari, ensuring an active journey. The safari experience is completed with leisurely days on Zanzibar’s pristine beaches!

Travel to Amin Maasai Lodge
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by our representative or safari guide, who will transfer you to Amini Maasai Lodge for 2 days of a cultural immersion experience. As a team of local Tanzanians, we are excited to welcome you with open arms and make your journey memorable. Welcome on board!
Amini Maasai Lodge
Maasai Amini Lodge has 16 earth houses in different places in a replicated Maasai village. It is located in a unique, tranquil natural landscape with views of Mount Meru and the glorious Mount Kilimanjaro. Maasai Lodge is the perfect place to rest and recharge your batteries, go on excursions and safaris, and experience exclusive tours, hikes, and cultural adventures.
Amini Maasai Lodge
Today will be a relaxing day spent at the lodge. You can take part in various captivating cultural activities at Amini Maasai Lodge such as sunset dances, Maasai storytelling, spear throwing, a medicinal plant discovery tour or a permaculture farm tour. You can also pay extra for game drives, donkey safaris, and hiking adventures.

Walking Safari in Arusha NP & Wildlife Viewing
You will depart from your lodge for a walking safari in Arusha Park, which takes 2 to 2.5 hours. A walking safari is the ultimate way to experience the African bush on foot and up close. You will spot wildlife in the distance, birds, butterflies, and visit the waterfalls. On the game drive, you can spot elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, waterbucks, and different species of monkeys.
Under the guidance of your guide and an armed ranger to ensure your walking safari is as safe as possible.
Mount Meru Game Lodge
Mount Meru Game Lodge & Wildlife Sanctuary is the lodge designed for both wildlife and nature lovers. The game sanctuary was established to offer refuge to orphaned and injured animals and to prepare them for their return to the wild. The lodge has 15 double or twin en-suite bedrooms and family suites.
Tarangire National Park
Today, you will drive 2.5 hours southwest to Tarangire, home to the highest concentration of elephants in Northern Tanzania. Lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles and many other wildlife species also inhabit this park. Tarangire offers over 550 bird species, including the world’s biggest bird – the Maasai ostrich. Get ready for an adventure!
Tarangire Simba Lodge
Tarangire Simba Lodge is located in a wildlife-rich area with unobstructed views of beautiful Lake Burunge. It is bordered by the park and a Wildlife Management Area. The setting is stunning, with a giant old Baobab tree and a pervasive feeling of real Africa. The lodge has 16 classic tents under thatch. Zebras, impalas, and monkeys live nearby, while elephants, buffalos, and giraffes frequently pass by.
Village Walking or Biking Safari + Lake Manyara Game Drive
Set off to a local village for a walking or biking tour. You will pass through banana plantations, visit the Makonde tribe, and later see the banana beer fermentation process. Afterwards, you will enjoy a traditional Tanzanian lunch at a unique venue before proceeding with a game viewing in Lake Manyara National Park. The park is known for its greenery, diverse wildlife, and migratory birds, including flamingos.
Ngorongoro Farm House
This is a midrange exclusive hotel built on a 500 acres coffee farm nested in a beautiful woodland area located 4km from Ngorongoro Conservation Area entrance. Into Wild Camp
A very beautiful camp hidden deep in Central Serengeti along the Nyabogati River, perfectly located 8km deep in bush from any road and on the edge of beautiful savannah plain. It has 13 extra-large luxury tents for a comfortable stay.
Ngorongoro Crater Tour
The Ngorongoro crater, which is only 10 miles wide, was formed around three million years ago when a volcano collapsed. It is the world’s largest volcano caldera and is home to over 25,000 resident animals, making it a unique ecosystem. In the grass steppes and acacia forest, you can spot almost every animal in the East African savanna, including the African “Big Five”.

Meet the Hadzabe Bushmen & Datoga Tribe
You will leave the lodge early morning to meet the Hadzabe Bushmen, the last hunter and gatherer society in Africa. Participate in their activities such as hunting, fruit gathering, and making a campfire. Later on, you will meet the Datoga tribe, traditional pastoralists who farm maize, beans, and millet. Visit the Datoga blacksmith and watch him forge knives and jewelry for the Bushmen.

Fly to Zanzibar + Stone Town Tour
Enjoy a leisurely morning and breakfast before proceeding to Arusha Airport in time for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and then depart for a Tour of Stone Town. This tour includes visits to historical and cultural sites such as the old slave market, Darajani Market, the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, and the Sultan’s Palace.

Spice Tour + Cooking Class – Beach Holiday
In the morning, you will be picked up for a spice plantation tour. You will walk through the spice farm to see how spices, herbs, and fruits are grown and cultivated on the island. You will also get to experience the smells and tastes of the spices. After the farm tour, you can prepare and enjoy traditional Zanzibari dishes for lunch. Later, you will head to your beach hotel for your beach holiday.

Departure Day
Before leaving the paradise island of Zanzibar, enjoy an early morning at the beach or just relax by the pool. Enjoy a lush breakfast at the hotel, before our representative drives you back to Zanzibar International Airport to return home. It is a bittersweet moment for both you and us as we say goodbye, but we hope to see you return soon.
