Day 1

Travel to Arusha, Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you’ll be greeted by our representative or safari guide, who will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Today, you will head to Lake Manyara, nestled along the Great Rift Valley Escarpment, for an active biking or walking safari followed by a thrilling game drive. Lake Manyara is famous for its lush, year-round greenery that draws countless migratory birds and supports a wide range of wildlife. Here, you may encounter baboons, vervet and blue monkeys, hippos, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, and much more in their natural habitat.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour

The Ngorongoro Crater, spanning just 10 miles (16 km) across, was formed approximately three million years ago when a massive volcano collapsed in on itself. Today, it stands as the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and supports a thriving ecosystem with more than 25,000 resident animals. Within its grass-covered plains and acacia woodlands, you’ll find nearly every species native to the East African savannah — including all members of the famed Big Five.

Hadzabe tribe people
Day 6

Meet the Hadzabe Bushmen & Datoga Tribe

You will leave the lodge early morning to meet the Hadzabe Bushmen, the last hunter and gatherer society in Africa. Participate in their activities such as hunting, fruit gathering, and making a campfire. Later on, you will meet the Datoga tribe, traditional pastoralists who farm maize, beans, and millet. Visit the Datoga blacksmith and watch him forge knives and jewelry for the Bushmen.

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is famed for having the highest concentration of elephants in Northern Tanzania, offering incredible sightings of these gentle giants throughout the year. The park is also home to a remarkable variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and many other species that roam its sprawling landscapes. With over 550 recorded bird species—among them the world’s largest bird, the Maasai ostrich—Tarangire is equally a paradise for bird lovers.

After an unforgettable day exploring Tarangire, you will be driven to the respective airport for your outbound flight.
