Your adventure continues to the remote Northern Serengeti, where the legendary Great Migration unfolds. Travel to Arusha, Tanzania
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by our representative or safari guide, who will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. As a team of local Tanzanians, we know the country like the back of our hands, so you’re in for a treat from the moment you land until you leave. Welcome aboard!

Arusha Legendary Lodge
Arusha Legendary Lodge is a luxurious accommodation located on a working coffee plantation at the foothills of Mount Meru. The lodge features 10 private cottages and 2 family cottages, each designed with a blend of African arts and colonial-style luxury.

Fly to Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater Rim Walking Safari
After breakfast, a representative will transfer you to Arusha Airport for your flight to Manyara Airstrip. Upon arrival, your safari guide will meet you and drive to Ngorongoro, where you’ll see streams, grasslands, and abundant wildlife. Later, enjoy a one-hour walking safari along the crater rim, out of the car, without committing to a serious trek. Spend the evening at leisure, have dinner, and rest for the night.

Crater’s Edge
Crater’s Edge Lodge is situated on the northeastern side of the Crater, just a few minutes’ drive from the Crater floor. The lodge comprises 15 spacious, luxurious suites with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The suites feature authentic African decor and modern amenities for a comfortable stay.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour
The Ngorongoro crater, which is only 10 miles wide, was formed around three million years ago when a volcano collapsed. It is the world’s largest volcanic caldera and is home to over 25,000 resident animals, making it a unique ecosystem. In the grass steppes and acacia forest, you can spot almost every animal in the East African savanna, including the African “Big Five”.

Fly to Central Serengeti
A representative from Melia will transfer you to Manyara Airport in time for your flight to Serengeti. Upon arrival at Seronera Airstrip, you will meet a safari guide who will pick you up for an exciting game drive in the endless rolling plains of Serengeti. Seronera area, the richest wildlife habitat in the park, featuring the Seronera River Valley, is a ‘must-see’ game area on any Serengeti safari.

Lemala Nanyukie Lodge
Lemala Nanyukie is a 60-minute drive east of the Seronera Airstrip in the central region of Serengeti National Park and is superbly positioned, offering outstanding views across these fascinating ‘endless plains.’ Lemala Nanyukie has 15 luxurious guest tents with canvas walls, cathedral-like ceilings, broad hardwood decks, textured accessories, luxurious upholstery, wooden furnishings, and well-executed lighting.

Full Day in Central Serengeti + Walking Safari

Lemala Nanyukie Lodge
Lemala Nanyukie is a 60-minute drive east of the Seronera Airstrip in the central region of Serengeti National Park and is superbly positioned, offering outstanding views across these fascinating ‘endless plains.’ Lemala Nanyukie has 15 luxurious guest tents with canvas walls, cathedral-like tented ceilings, and broad hardwood decks, textured accessories, luxurious upholstery, wooden furnishings, and well-executed lighting.

Fly to Lamai Wedge
You will fly to Lamai. Upon arrival, you will meet your Safari Guide from Nyasi Migration Camp, who will collect you and commence an exciting game drive. Lamia Wedge is a secluded stretch of savanna in the northern Serengeti, bordered by the Mara River and Masai Mara, accessible by a seasonal bridge. From July to October, you’ll witness dramatic river crossings as over 2.5 million wildebeest, along with zebras and gazelles, travel in search of water, creating a spectacular natural event.

Nyasi Migration Camp
The Camp is strategically located in the Lamai Wedge of the Northern Serengeti. It features eight en-suite tents, including one family tent designed for comfort and privacy. Each tent is elegantly furnished with natural materials that harmonize with the surrounding environment, creating a tranquil atmosphere for relaxation.

Northern Serengeti & Great Migration
Witness the spectacular sight of large herds of wildebeest and zebras trying to cross the Mara River as they are hunted by giant crocodiles. The Great Migration involves over 2.5 million wildebeest, driven by ancient rhythms and natural instincts as they follow water sources in a clockwise rotation, covering 1,600 miles per year. The North Serengeti offers a variety of wildlife, including the Big Five.
