Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be greeted by our representative or safari guide, who will transfer you to Amini Maasai Lodge for two days of cultural immersion. As a team of proud local Tanzanians, we are thrilled to welcome you with open arms and ensure your journey begins with authentic warmth and unforgettable experiences. Welcome on board!

Today is all about relaxation and cultural discovery at Amini Maasai Lodge. You can participate in a range of captivating activities, including traditional sunset dances, Maasai storytelling, spear throwing, a medicinal plant discovery walk, or a tour of the lodge’s permaculture farm. For an even deeper adventure, you may opt for additional experiences such as guided game drives, scenic hiking excursions, or a unique donkey safari.

You will depart from your lodge for a walking safari in Arusha National Park, lasting approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. A walking safari is the ultimate way to experience the African bush up close, offering a chance to spot wildlife, colorful birds, butterflies, and visit scenic waterfalls. Later, during your game drive, you may encounter elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, waterbucks, and various monkey species.

Throughout the walk, your expert guide and an armed ranger will accompany you to ensure both safety and an enriching experience.

Today, you will be driven 2.5 hours southwest to Tarangire National Park, famed for hosting the largest concentration of elephants in Northern Tanzania. Alongside these giants, the park teems with lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and many other remarkable wildlife species. Bird enthusiasts will also be delighted, as Tarangire is home to more than 550 species, including the world’s largest bird—the Maasai ostrich. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure!

Today, you’ll drive approximately 2.5 hours southwest to Tarangire National Park, renowned for having the highest concentration of elephants in Northern Tanzania. Alongside these gentle giants, the park is home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and many other wildlife species. Tarangire is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, boasting over 550 bird species, including the world’s largest – the Maasai ostrich. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure!

Let yourself be inspired by the beauty and wonder of the Serengeti, where acacia trees and granite kopjes rise from endless waves of golden grass. Your time will be dedicated to exploring the heart of the Central Serengeti, one of Tanzania’s most wildlife-rich regions. Here, each day offers the chance to encounter iconic animals — from powerful prides of lions and swift cheetahs to elephants, leopards, giraffes, pods of hippos, and an extraordinary variety of birdlife.

The Ngorongoro Crater, spanning just 10 miles (16 km) across, was formed approximately three million years ago when a massive volcano collapsed in on itself. Today, it stands as the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and supports a thriving ecosystem with more than 25,000 resident animals. Within its grass-covered plains and acacia woodlands, you’ll find nearly every species native to the East African savannah — including all members of the famed Big Five.

You will depart the lodge early in the morning to meet the Hadzabe Bushmen, the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribe in Africa. Join them in their daily activities such as hunting, gathering wild fruits, and making a campfire — a rare opportunity to experience their ancient traditions firsthand. Later, you will visit the Datoga tribe, skilled pastoralists who cultivate maize, beans, and millet. Stop by the Datoga blacksmith’s workshop and watch him forge handmade knives and jewelry, which are often traded with the Hadzabe Bushmen.

Enjoy a leisurely morning and breakfast before heading to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in before setting off on a fascinating Stone Town Tour. This guided excursion takes you through Zanzibar’s rich history and culture, with visits to key landmarks such as the Old Slave Market, Darajani Market, the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, and the Sultan’s Palace.

In the morning, you’ll be picked up for a Spice Plantation Tour. Stroll through lush farms to see how Zanzibar’s famous spices, herbs, and tropical fruits are grown and cultivated. Experience the vibrant aromas and flavors as you sample freshly harvested spices. After the tour, enjoy preparing and savoring traditional Zanzibari dishes for lunch. Later, you’ll continue to your beach hotel to begin your relaxing seaside holiday.

While Zanzibar offers endless activities, nothing compares to a blissful day spent on the beach. Before leaving the paradise island of Zanzibar, take in the early morning breeze by the beach or simply unwind by the pool. Enjoy a lush breakfast at your hotel before our representative drives you to Zanzibar International Airport for your journey home. It’s a bittersweet farewell for both you and us, but we part with the hope of welcoming you back again soon.
