Great Migration Calving Season Safari – Jan to March

$3,285
Travel dates: January to March
This is the perfect time to visit Ndutu as it becomes the heart of the Great Migration. It’s calving season, when more than 250,000 wildebeest are born, creating a spectacular scene of new life across the plains. With so many vulnerable calves, predators are never far away, and the drama of survival unfolds right before your eyes.
Beyond the Migration, your journey continues to Tarangire, home to vast herds of elephants and exotic mammals such as leopards, cheetahs, and giraffes, along with over 100 bird species. You’ll also explore the sweeping plains of the Central Serengeti, ruled by powerful prides of lions, before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater — the world’s largest volcanic caldera. Here, over 25,000 resident animals, including the legendary “Big five,” await in one of the most remarkable ecosystems on earth.
