Kruger National Park

WHEN TO VISIT
The best time to visit for wildlife viewing is during the dry winter months, from May to September. During this time, the vegetation is less dense, making it easier to spot wildlife, and the animals tend to congregate around water sources. The weather is also cooler and less humid during these months, making it a more comfortable time for game drives and other activities.

HOW TO GET THERE
The most convenient way to get Kruger is by flying into one of the nearby airports, such as Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport or Hoedspruit Airport, both of which have regular flights from major cities in South Africa. Visitors can also fly into Johannesburg’s O.R. Tambo International Airport and take a connecting flight to one of the nearby airports.
